Core Responsibilities
Our Montessori nannies excel in traditional childcare tasks while integrating Montessori methods to enhance your children’s development. They focus on fostering independence in your little ones, assigning age-appropriate responsibilities, and encouraging exploration and nature play. These caregivers work closely with you to align their approach with your family values.
Their responsibilities encompass various activities, such as:
- facilitating school drop-offs/pick-ups,
- providing sole or shared childcare,
- engaging in age-appropriate activities and games,
- promoting learning through play,
- gently nurturing independence,
- organising indoor and outdoor activities,
- crafting seasonal projects,
- assisting with homework for school-age children,
- preparing nutritious family meals.
Additionally, they diligently manage nursery duties, ensuring toys and play areas are clean, handling kids’ laundry, loading the dishwasher, and maintaining communal areas in an orderly manner.
Salary Guide
- Live in (Full Time) £35K – £45K+ GPA
- Live Out (Full time) £45K – £60K+ GPA
- Live Out (Part Time) £14 – £16+ net per hour
- Temporary/Short Term £15 – £20+ net per hour
- Final salary always varies depending on the overall package offered.
- Salary guide is based on a 5 day work week, 10 – 12hrs a day, and is presented to you as a guide. Live-out nannies work between 10 and 12 hours per day, five days per week. In addition, often families require one-night babysitting, which is included in the salary. For a higher salary, some live-out nannies may work 6 days per week.
