Live-Out Nanny undertakes all tasks related to the care of the children. They serve as loving, nurturing and trustworthy companions to the children in the household. Daily tasks may vary greatly between families, caring for one or multiple children. Oftentimes Nannies and Mannies will take on additional responsibilities within the home related to the care of the children. Each family will create a schedule, shift pattern and duties unique to them. It is normal for a nanny to be employed on a live in or live out basis, depending on the family circumstances and requirements.
We only put forward those candidates who have specific experience of your child’s age group and matches your requirements. We also ensure that your live-out nannies live within an easy commute to your home.
Core Responsibilities
Duties of a live-out nanny can include:
- dropping to and collecting children from school
- helping with homework
- planning children’s extracurricular activities
- preparation of meals for children
- washing and ironing children’s clothes
- arranging play-dates and social schedules
- keeping parents informed of developmental progress
- babysitting evenings
- bilingual nannies can also help with teaching your child a second language
Salary Guide
- Live Out (Full time) £45K – £60K+ GPA
- Live Out (Part Time) £14 – £16+ per hour
- Temporary/Short Term £15 – £20+ per hour
- Final salary always varies depending on the overall package offered.
- Salary guide is based on a 5 day work week, 10 – 12hrs a day, and is presented to you as a guide. Live-out nannies work between 10 and 12 hours per day, five days per week. In addition, often families require one-night babysitting, which is included in the salary. For a higher salary, some live-out nannies may work 6 days per week.
